We know with certainty that our shared passion for aviation transcends any differences among us.
At the Blue Angels Air Association India Chapter, (Blue Angels Air) we strive to encourage, empower and educate all those whose interests, lives, and work involve aviation and aerospace without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, age, or point of view. As an organisation driven by its members, our goal is to collaborate with all members to develop resources, content, and events that provide the greatest value to everyone involved. We provide year-round resources to assist women in aviation and to encourage young women to consider aviation as a career
Just as Amelia Earhart said:
“Some of us have great runways already built for us. If you have one, take off. But if you don’t have one, realise it is your responsibility to grab a shovel and build one for yourself and for those who will follow after you.”
Our Mission
Is to serve as the premier national platform, championing the invaluable contributions of our diverse members across every facet of aviation and aerospace, alongside allied interests. Through advocacy, support, and celebration, we aim to elevate our members’ impact and foster a vibrant and inclusive community within the industry.
We will achieve this by:
Promoting Diversity & Inclusion | This involves advocating for equal opportunities for women in all aspects of aviation including piloting, engineering, management and other roles. |
Empowerment & Support | We provide networking opportunities, scholarships, discounted programs, mentorship initiatives and resources which will help empower women to pursue careers and interest in aviation. |
Education & Outreach | We aim to inspire and educate young girls to spark their interest in aviation. Girls in Aviation Day is our global outreach program connecting young aspiring aviators from all around the world & many other outreach programs. |
Recognition & Celebration | We love to celebrate & honour our women aviators throughout history including our contemporary leaders and trailblazers who are making significant contributions to the industry. |
Collaboration | With industry, government & academia to deliver STEM outreach programs and initiatives to regional, remote & rural India. |
